AFCA Poll – Week 8
WACO, Texas – Saint John's University moved up one spot to No. 10 in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Top 25 poll, presented by Hudl, released today (Monday, Oct. 27).
Six teams in NCAA Region 6 were ranked in the top 25, all in the top 15: Bethel (No. 6), Wisconsin-Whitewater (No. 8), Wisconsin-River Falls (No. 9), SJU (No. 10), Wisconsin-La Crosse (No. 11) and Wisconsin-Platteville (No. 15). Wisconsin-Oshkosh (44), Wisconsin-Stout (43), Chapman (4), Whitworth (3) and Linfield (1) received votes.
The Johnnies (6-1, 5-1 MIAC) stayed at No. 11 in the latest D3football.com Top 25 poll and climbed two spots to No. 18 in the third National Power Index (NPI) released yesterday (Sunday, Oct. 26).
SJU visits Gustavus Adolphus (3-4, 3-3 MIAC) for a 1 p.m. kickoff this Saturday, Nov. 1, at Hollingsworth Field in St. Peter.
