Johnnie Wrestling hosts a pair of home events this Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 18-19 in Sexton Arena. SJU welcomes Buena Vista (Iowa) for a 7 p.m. dual on Saturday (Jan. 18) and the North Country Invitational at noon Sunday (Jan. 19).

A LOOK AT THE JOHNNIES: Saint John's took advantage of six forfeits in a 48-10 dual win over Minnesota North-Itasca last Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 7) in Grand Rapids.
Following four-consecutive forfeits to start the dual, sophomore
Kris Castro (Simi Valley, Calif./Chaminade) extended the Johnnies' lead to 30-0 with a first-period pin at 157 pounds for his sixth win in the last eight matches. He is now 11-7 on the season.
Sophomore
Aidan Wayne (Maple Grove, Minn./Osseo) won SJU's other match with his team-leading ninth pin of the season at heavyweight. He now boasts a 13-4 record.

WHO WILL BE HERE SUNDAY: The Johnnies and Beavers are scheduled to be joined Sunday by Concordia-Moorhead, Division II St. Cloud State and Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
