D3football.com Preseason Poll 

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – The Saint John's University football team was ranked No. 14 in D3football.com's Preseason Top 25 poll released Wednesday, July 24.

Six teams in NCAA Region 6 were ranked in the top 25: Wisconsin-Whitewater (No. 3), Wisconsin-La Crosse (No. 6), SJU (No. 14), Wisconsin-River Falls (No. 17), Linfield (No. 23) and Whitworth (No. 24). Bethel (70), Wisconsin-Platteville (39), Wisconsin-Oshkosh (36) and Chapman (4) received votes.

The Johnnies were ranked No. 24 in Lindy's Division III Preseason Top 25 poll earlier this summer.

The Johnnies report to campus on Wednesday, Aug. 14, with their first practice scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15. SJU opens the 2024 season with a 1 p.m. kickoff Sept. 7 against Carthage (Wis.) – the first of six home games this fall – in Clemens Stadium. The Johnnies then host No. 4 Wartburg (Iowa) Sept. 14 and begin MIAC play Sept. 28 at Bethel.
