SEATTLE, Wash. – Former Saint John's University tight end
Alex Larson '23 (Woodbury, Minn./East Ridge) will participate at the Seattle Seahawks' rookie minicamp this weekend (May 3-6) at the team's practice facility (the Virginia Mason Athletic Center) in Renton, Wash.
The Seahawks invited Larson following the conclusion of the NFL Draft on Saturday, April 27.
A three-time All-American, including a consensus first-team selection (by the AFCA, Associated Press and D3football.com) the past two seasons, Larson worked out for scouts March 14 at the University of Minnesota's Pro Day.
A three-time All-MIAC and D3football.com All-Region honoree, Larson led SJU with 68 receptions, was second with 764 receiving yards and tied for third with eight receiving touchdowns in 10 games in 2023. The 6-foot-7 target became SJU's all-time leader in catches (171), receiving yards (2,097) and receiving touchdowns (30) by a tight end.
Larson recorded seven 100-yard receiving games (with three others between 96-98 yards) and ended his career fourth in SJU history, regardless of position, in receptions and seventh in receiving touchdowns.
