D3football.com Poll 

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – The Saint John's University football team was ranked No. 6 in D3football.com's Preseason Top 25 poll released Monday, July 31.

Seven teams in NCAA Region 6 were ranked in the top 25: SJU (No. 6), Linfield (No. 7), Wisconsin-Whitewater (No. 11), Wisconsin-La Crosse (No. 12), Bethel (No. 14), Wisconsin-Oshkosh (No. 21) and Wisconsin-River Falls (No. 23). Gustavus Adolphus received a vote.

The Johnnies were ranked No. 14 in Lindy's Division III Preseason Top 25 poll earlier this summer.

SJU reports to campus on Friday, Aug. 11, with the first practice scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12. The Johnnies open the 2023 season with a noon kickoff Sept. 2 against No. 4 Trinity (Texas) in Clemens Stadium, visit No. 11 Wisconsin-Whitewater Sept. 9 and begin conference play vs. No. 14 Bethel Sept. 23 in Collegeville.
