D3football.com Poll 

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – The Saint John's University football team was ranked No. 5 in D3football.com's Preseason Top 25 poll released Tuesday, July 26.

Seven teams in NCAA Region 6 were ranked in the top 25: Wisconsin-Whitewater (No. 4), SJU (No. 5), Linfield (No. 7), Wisconsin-La Crosse (No. 12), Bethel (No. 13), Wisconsin-River Falls (No. 18) and Wisconsin-Oshkosh (No. 19). Four others (Redlands, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Gustavus Adolphus, Wisconsin-Stout) received votes.

The Johnnies were ranked No. 13 in Lindy's Division III Preseason Top 25 poll earlier this summer.

The Johnnies report to Collegeville on Friday, Aug. 12, with the first practice scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13. SJU opens the 2022 season with a 1 p.m. kickoff Sept. 3 against No. 4 Wisconsin-Whitewater - one of six home games this fall - in Clemens Stadium and hosts No. 18 Wisconsin-River Falls Sept. 10 before visiting No. 13 Bethel Sept. 24 for the MIAC opener.
