ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Saint John's hockey completed the series sweep of St. Olaf with a 3-1 win on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 12, at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center (HBNHC) in St. Cloud.
The Oles (8-14-3, 5-8-1 MIAC) gained a quick 1-0 lead on a goal from Sean Walsh on the game's first shot 55 seconds into the contest, but SJU (15-6-2, 8-3-1 MIAC) scored the next three goals.

Braden Altena (St. Cloud, Minn.) tied the game at 1-1 with a one-timer on the doorstep from freshman forward
Cody Carlson (Buffalo, Minn.), his second goal of the season, 42 seconds later.
Freshman forward
Jackson Sabo (Rosemount, Minn.) made it 2-1 with his fourth goal of the season, a rebound off a shot on goal from Carlson, with 4:23 left in the second period.
Sophomore forward
Lewis Crosby (Edina, Minn.) sealed the win with an empty-net goal, his MIAC-leading 16th tally of the season, with 15 seconds remaining.
Senior goaltender
Michael Magnuson (Sunfish Lake, Minn.) made 25 saves to improve to 4-2 on the year and earn his fifth collegiate win.
SJU out-shot STO by a 39-26 margin, including a 27-13 advantage in the first two periods. Both teams were 0-for-5 on the power play.
The Johnnies end the regular season with a home-and-home series with No. 4 Augsburg, beginning with a 7 p.m. puck-drop on Friday, Feb. 18, in Minneapolis. The two teams complete the schedule with a 7 p.m. game on Saturday, Feb. 19, at the HBNHC.
