COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – The Saint John's University football team was ranked No. 6 in D3football.com's Preseason Top 25 poll released Wednesday, Aug. 18.

Eight teams in the newly formed NCAA Region 6 were ranked in the top 25, including six in the top 10: Mary Hardin-Baylor (No. 1), Wisconsin-Whitewater (No. 4), SJU (No. 6), Hardin-Simmons (No. 7), Wisconsin-Oshkosh (No. 9), Linfield (No. 10), Bethel (No. 16) and Chapman (No. 21).
