Ben Bartch (Dayton, Ore./Blanchet Catholic) is participating in the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine this week at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The NFL Combine runs from Monday, Feb. 24 until Sunday, March 1, and features 337 NFL hopefuls. The week includes measurement drills, interviews, an NFL Players Association meeting and more.
The measurable drills for offensive linemen consist of a 40-yard dash, bench press (225-pound lifts), vertical jump, broad jump, three-cone drill and 20-yard shuttle run. All of the workouts will air live on NFL Network throughout the week.
The week ends with an on-field workout, which will be Friday, Feb. 28 between 3 and 10 p.m. CT for offensive linemen.

Bartch attended the 2020 Reese's Senior Bowl Jan. 25 in Mobile, Ala. Although he did not play in the game, Bartch received rave reviews during the three days of practices leading up to the event.
The combine is the next step in the NFL scouting process leading up to the 2020 NFL Draft April 23-25 in Las Vegas. Bartch is currently projected to be drafted between the second and fourth rounds.
A D3football.com first-team and Associated Press second-team All-American in 2019, Bartch earned the MIAC Mike Stam Award as the conference's top defensive or offensive lineman and started all 14 games at left tackle this season. He made 27 straight starts at the position since he switched from tight end during the 2018 preseason.
Bartch played tight end his first two seasons as a Johnnie and caught four passes for 43 yards (10.8 avg.) and a touchdown in eight games in 2017. He switched to offensive tackle during the offseason and started on the left side immediately. His athleticism and size (6-foot-6, 308 pounds) attracted attention from all 32 NFL teams this fall.
Off the field, Bartch was honored during halftime of the Allstate Sugar Bowl Jan. 1 as a member of the 22-man Allstate American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Good Works Team.
Bartch and senior quarterback
Jackson Erdmann (Rosemount, Minn.) are expected to participate at the University of Minnesota's Pro Day on Wednesday, March 25, in Minneapolis.
