Charlie Spurr ended the scoring with a shot to the far post 4:31 into the second half.

Freshman goalkeeper Nicholas French (Waterford, Wis.) made five saves in the loss for the Johnnies, who were playing an MIAC semifinal game for the fifth consecutive season. SJU posted a 3-0 win at Carleton yesterday (Nov. 1) in a quarterfinal match.
