Final ResultsMOORHEAD, Minn. – Saint John's finished fifth out of 11 teams at the 2015 MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday, March 7, on the campus of Concordia-Moorhead.
St. Thomas won the MIAC title with 162 points, followed by St. Olaf (142), Hamline (95), Carleton (91.5) and SJU (61).
Sophomore
Joe Koll (Winona, Minn./Cotter) earned All-MIAC honors (top three individually, champion relay) with a second-place finish in the triple jump (13.55 meters), 2.5 inches from the conference title. Sophomore
Raymond Twumasi (Coon Rapids, Minn.) followed in eighth place (13.15 meters).
Junior
Thomas Feichtinger (Omaha, Neb./Mount Michael Benedictine) repeated last year's result and tallied his second All-MIAC performance of the weekend with a third-place finish in the 1,000 meters (2:30.85).
Sophomore
Maxwell Olson (Warrensburg, Mo.) posted SJU's fourth All-MIAC honor of the two-day meet with a third-place mark in the pole vault (4.41 meters), the Johnnies' first in the event at the indoor meet since 2010.
Senior
Yasin Williams (East Orange, N.J./St. Benedict's Prep) rounded out the Johnnies' top-10 individual marks with an eighth-place finish in the 200-meter dash (22.98).
