The Johnnies (5-4 overall) committed eight errors and left 13 men on base in the game, which was tied 7-7 entering the ninth inning.
Ohio Northern (5-1 overall) scored 13 of its 14 runs in two innings, six in the third inning and seven in the top of the ninth. Seven of the 14 runs scored were earned.

Aaron Pfaff (New Ulm, Minn./Cathedral) went 3-for-5 with two RBI, while senior
Kurt Jantscher (Plymouth, Minn./Robbinsdale Armstrong) and junior
Mike Stegora (Red Wing, Minn.) added two hits apiece. Senior
Geno Larkin (Eden Prairie, Minn.) drove in two runs on a pair of sacrifice flies.
Pfaff is now 12-for-19 (.632) with seven RBI in his last four games and is two hits behind Matt Butorac (2008-11) for seventh in school history with 127 in his career. He is also tied for third with Casey Haugen (2004-07) with 37 career stolen bases, 10 behind the school record held by Chris Palmer (1994-96).

Joe Stanton (Stillwater, Minn.) took the loss, five runs (two earned) on three hits in four innings of relief. Classmate
Patrick Strey (Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview) started the game and allowed six runs (five earned) on five hits in the game's first four innings.
