NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Saint John's (2-1-2, 1-0-1 MIAC) recorded its second tie of the season with a 1-1 decision at St. Olaf (3-2-2, 1-0-1 MIAC) on Saturday, Sept. 18.

Senior forward #A.J. Sollom# (Roberts, Wis./River Falls) scored his first goal of the season just under two minutes into the match to give SJU an early 1-0 lead. Freshman midfielder Michael Coborn (St. Cloud, Minn./Cathedral) assisted on the play.

Saint John's conceded an own-goal with just under a minute left in regulation to tie the game 1-1.

Senior goalkeeper Matt Anderson (Eden Prairie, Minn.) recorded six saves for SJU.

The Johnnies return to action Sunday, Sept. 19, against Central (Iowa). The match is scheduled for 1 p.m. at George Durenberger Field in Collegeville.
