WINONA, Minn. – Saint John's extended its conference winning streak to three with a 1-0 decision at Saint Mary's on Saturday, Oct. 23, in Winona.

A goal from sophomore Ryan Fuchs (St. Michael, Minn./Rogers) 15:30 into the match, the first of his career, proved to be the game winner. Senior Austin Neuburger (Millstone, N.J./Allentown) assisted on the scoring play for SJU (5-4-4, 4-2-2 MIAC).

Senior Matt Anderson (Eden Prairie, Minn.) made two saves to record his fifth shutout and improve to 4-2-2 on the season. He now boasts a 0.61 GAA and a .913 save percentage in 883 minutes between the pipes.

The Johnnies travel to face Luther (Iowa) for a 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, in Decorah Iowa.
