COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John's fell to St. Olaf, 2-1 on Saturday, Sept. 19, in Collegeville.

Blake Dressen gave the Oles (4-0-1, 2-0-0 MIAC) an early 1-0 lead just 4:06 into the match. Nathan Swenson increased the lead to 2-0 with a goal 10 minutes into the second half.

The Johnnies finally got on the scoreboard at the 67:58 mark of the second half on a goal from junior defender Andrew Lilly (Maple Grove, Minn.). The goal was the first of his collegiate career. Senior midfielder Eric Bell (Little Falls, Minn.) assisted on the scoring play.

Senior goalkeeper Luke Nelson (Caledonia, Minn.) made 11 saves in the loss.

The Johnnies (2-3-0, 0-2-0 MIAC) return to action next Saturday, Sept. 26, as they play host to Gustavus Adolphus. The match is scheduled for 1 p.m. at George Durenberger Field in Collegeville.
