ST. PAUL, Minn. – Macalester defeated Saint John's 3-0 on Tuesday, Oct. 27, in St. Paul. 

The Scots (9-7-1, 6-3-0 MIAC) took a 1-0 lead in the 38th minute (38:29) and added to their lead with two goals 1:26 apart with less than five minutes remaining in the match.

Senior Luke Nelson (Caledonia, Minn.) made five saves in the loss.

The Johnnies (5-10-2, 1-7-1 MIAC) end their 2009 season at Concordia-Moorhead this Saturday, Oct. 31. The match is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. in Moorhead.
