Senior Sam Olson (Sioux Falls, S.D./O'Gorman) tied for third out of 90 golfers with a three-day total of 210 (-3; 69-69-72) as No. 17 SJU tied for sixth out of 18 teams at the elite Golfweek Division III Fall Invitational Oct. 15-17 at the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort's Raven G.C. (par 71).

The 18-team field included 13 top-25 teams, including eight ranked in the top 10.

Olson ended the fall portion of the Johnnies' 2017-18 schedule with a team-leading 74.1 scoring average in 15 rounds, including a 72.6 average in his final 10 rounds. He finished in the top 10 individually at four of SJU's six tournaments this fall, with three in the top five.
