Saint John's junior Mitch Peck (Alexandria, Minn.) won a pair of conference titles with personal-record times in the 110- (15.24) and 400-meter (53.63) hurdles at the 2017 MIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships held May 12-13 at Hamline's Klas Field in St. Paul.

The 400-meter crown was his second consecutive and the time is good for 21st in NCAA Division III (as of May 15). The 110-meter title was the Johnnies' first since Mike Sabers '97 in 1997.

SJU's regular-season finale, the Wisconsin-La Crosse Qualifier, is scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday, May 18. The meet serves as the Johnnies' last chance to record an NCAA-qualifying mark or time before the national meet is held May 25-27 on the Mount Union campus in Alliance, Ohio.
