Saint John's junior righty Collin Felhaber (North St. Paul, Minn.) improved to 2-0 on the young season, allowing the three runs on four hits in a team-high eight innings of work in the 6-3 win in game two of Sunday's (April 6) doubleheader at Saint Mary's. He struck out six and walked two and now has a 5-to-1 strikeout/walk ratio on the year (20 strikeouts to four walks).

SMU broke up Felhaber's no-hit bid and gained a 3-2 lead with three runs on three hits in the bottom of the fourth. He allowed one hit total in the other seven innings and was named the MIAC Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season.

The Johnnies (9-2, 1-1 MIAC) play host to Bethel for their home opener at 2:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, April 8) at Saint John's Field in Collegeville.
