Saint John's freshman Mitchell Kuck (Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial) averaged 15 points, 5.3 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game while shooting 50.0 percent (24-48) from the field, 54.5 percent (6-for-11) from three-point range, as the Johnnies went 4-0 last week.

He tallied eight points and eight assists in the 63-46 win at Saint Mary’s Jan. 14 before returning home to average 17.3 points in three home games.

Kuck is second on the team in scoring (9.9 ppg.), assists (39) and three-pointers made (15), but leads SJU with an average of 11.7 points in 12 MIAC games.

The Johnnies (7-10, 6-6 MIAC) seek their fifth straight win at Macalester on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at the Leonard Center in St. Paul.
