Saint John’s senior Ian Hansen (Dawson, Minn./Dawson-Boyd) improved to 14-4, including a 12-3 record at No. 2 singles, and 8-1 in the MIAC with a pair of wins in singles competition last week. He has now won six of his last seven singles’ matches and each of his last five at No. 1 doubles with teammate Fabricio Moncada.

The four-year starter and two-year team captain currently owns a 46-30 (20-16 MIAC) career record in singles play.

SJU (6-11, 4-5 MIAC) takes on St. Olaf in the first round of the MIAC Tournament this Friday, May 4, in St. Peter. The Johnnies ended the regular season with three consecutive 5-4 losses, including a one-point decision to the Oles April 27.
