Sophomore wing Chris Schwartz (Sioux Falls, S.D./Lincoln) led the Johnnies in scoring in both games of the CalTech Classic over Thanksgiving break last week. The Johnnies fell to Chapman (Calif.) 52-45 on Nov. 28 and defeated Occidental (Calif.) 75-61 to earn its first win of the season on Nov. 29. Schwartz tallied 14 points in the loss to Chapman and scored 25 points, including 21 off three-pointers, as the Johnnies were 15 of 31 (48.4%) from behind the arc in the win over Oxy. Schwartz is currently third in the MIAC with an average of 20.3 points per game.
