Saint John’s University senior Aaron Barmore (Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson) registered an eye-opening .789 shooting percentage (15-for-19) with an average of 16.5 points per game in the Johnnies recent pair of wins over Saint Mary’s (Dec. 5) and Martin Luther (Dec. 12). Barmore also tallied four of the team’s 25 steals as SJU forced a total of 38 turnovers in the two games. The Johnnies held the two opponents to a combined 39 first-half points. Barmore currently leads SJU (4-3, 1-2 MIAC) in scoring (12.4 ppg.) and steals (9).

The Johnnies wrap up the fall portion of their 2011-12 schedule at Minnesota-Morris this Thursday, Dec. 15.
