Saint John's University senior Dustin Baxter (Fairbanks, Alaska/West Valley), who is ranked second nationally at 197 pounds, posted a perfect 3-0 record with a trio of major decisions as the sixth-ranked Johnnies went 2-1 at the Wisconsin-La Crosse Duals Dec. 3.

Baxter started the day with a 13-5 major decision of Wisconsin-Stevens Point's Andy Borchardt and then bumped up a weight class to defeat Carl Gaul of Cornell (Iowa) 14-4 at heavyweight. He ended the day 16-4 major decision over Ryan Ward of Loras (Iowa) back at 197 pounds. Baxter is now 6-0 on the young season.

The Johnnies return to Wisconsin for the Duals at the Dells this Friday, Dec. 9. SJU is scheduled to face No. 15 Wisconsin-Whitewater at 6 p.m., followed by second-ranked Wisconsin-La Crosse at 7:45 p.m. at Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wis.
