CLEMENS STADIUM
In 1997 Clemens Stadium, home to Saint John’s University Outdoor Track and Field, received a facelift with the construction of a new press box, concession area and an all-weather 400 meter track. Clemens Stadium has hosted the MIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships twice since the renovation (’99 and ’07). One interesting fact about Clemens Stadium is that in both years that Saint John’s hosted the MIAC Outdoor Championships at Clemens Stadium, the Johnnies won the conference title.

THE DONALD MCNEELY SPECTRUM
Ever since its construction in 1998, the Donald McNeely Spectrum has been the primary site of Saint John’s University Indoor Track and Field. The 60,000 square foot Spectrum, designed by Ellerbe Becket Architects, features the University’s eight-lane indoor 200 meter track. In the eleven years since its construction, the Donald McNeely Spectrum has hosted four Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Indoor Track and Field Championships (‘00, ‘01, ‘04, and ‘08). The Spectrum has also hosted countless regular season indoor meets.

MCGLYNN FITNESS CENTER
1997 was a big year for the Saint John’s University Track and Field program because with it came the addition of the McGlynn Fitness Center. The Fitness Center is 5,600 square feet and is equipped with cardiovascular machines, upper body, lower body, and full core weight machines. The Fitness Center provides athletes the opportunity to train with the best equipment available.
