2010 D3football.com Preseason Top 25 Poll

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – Saint John's University was ranked No. 9 in the D3football.com Preseason Top 25 poll released Thursday, Aug. 5.

The Johnnies have now been ranked in the Top 15 of D3football.com's Preseason poll each season since the poll was introduced in 2003.

The Johnnies were ranked fourth in The Sporting News, eighth in Lindy's and ninth in the USA Today preseason Division III polls released earlier this summer.

SJU opens its 100th season against Northwestern (Minn.) at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at Clemens Stadium in Collegeville. Gagliardi begins his record 62nd season overall, 58th season at SJU, this fall. College football's all-time wins leader, Gagliardi begins the 2010 campaign with a 471-126-11 (.784) collegiate career record and a 447-120-10 (.783) record at SJU.
